The higher the transparency of the glass beads the less impurities, the less energy loss when the luminous light enters the glass beads. When the vehicle is running on the road, the reflective effect of the marking line is better.

From the perspective of the actual production process of glass beads, the rounding rate of formed glass beads is about 80%-85%, the higher the rounding rate of glass beads, the better the reflective performance at night. The input rate directly affects the return reflection ability of the marking.

In the choice of marking glass beads refractive index, the higher the refractive index of marking glass beads, the better the reflection effect. According to GBT24722-2009 standard, it can be divided into low refractive index (1.50≤RI<1.70), medium refractive index (1.70≤RI<1.90) and high refractive index (RI≥1.90) glass beads.

Resin types

(1) Epoxy polyester type

Simple processing, solvent-based two-component marking coating, slow curing time, low cost, poor strength, low film thickness, poor anti-fouling properties. Large amount of VOC emission, does not meet the requirements of environmental protection.


High performance, higher price and less application. Its variation: epoxy - polyurethane two-component, etc.

3)MA class

That is, methyl methacrylate (MA) monomer, controlled drying time, good adhesion, processed by MA monomer and PMA mixture.

4)PMA type

The product of pre-polymerization in the factory using MA monomer, called polymethyl methacrylate (PMA) resin, no emissions and volatilization, in line with environmental requirements, belongs to environmentally friendly products.
