The road marking beads exist in the fly ash discharged from the thermal power plant, which is an artificial volcanic ash material. The thermal power plant grinds the coal into powder and sprays it into the combustion boiler by professional equipment to burn them in a suspended state. During the entire combustion process, the combustible materials such as the charcoal and the organic components in the coal are almost burned out, while the incombustible components such as argillaceous, aluminum, iron, and calcium in the coal are melted at high temperatures, and that will generate the symbiont of mullite and quartz glass, and their pores will be filled with various gases. When the furnace temperature continues to rise to 1400 degrees Celsius, through complex physical action, the molten particles in suspension continuously roll and then form a sphere. In this process, the gas in the hole is surrounded by the ball, and the shape of the road marking beads will be basically generated.

When the furnace temperature continues to increase, due to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction, the gas in the ball will expand, the sphere will increase, and the braced outer edge will be thin. That is how a hollow spherical object is formed. When the sphere rises away from the furnace, and it meets the air and cool down quickly, the road marking beads will be formed. The raw materials for road marking beads are mostly natural ores. So, in order to make the road marking beads, first of all, the ores of all kinds need to be crushed, added with the powder, and then it will be made to batch materials based on the composition of the glass, and finally they will be sent to the glass melting furnace, which will produce the molten glass. The qualified molten glass will flow through the feed tank and flow out from the feed port to form a stock. As for the temperature of the stock, the medium-alkali road marking beads are generally 1150-1170 ℃, and the alkali-free glass is 1200-1220 ℃. After being cut for nearly 200 times per minute, the stock will turn into ball blank, and the ball blank will pass through the chute and then the ball divider, and be moved, roll into different funnels respectively, and then fall into a ball groove, which is composed of three rollers with the same rotation direction. With the ball blank rotates on the roller with its own surface tension effect, it will gradually form a smooth and round road marking beads.
